Understanding that we are called to seek and serve all persons, loving one another as ourselves, the mission of reaching out is to develop relationships with organizations in the community and the world that are serving the needs of those who are on the margins of society. Relationships are developed by getting to know leaders and offering resources of time, talent, and treasure to support others in their work.

Gatherings take place every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Office to share a meal and celebrate God's love.

Serving the

Under-Served

From monthly meals at Some Other Place to school supplies for the Ubi Caritas after school program to gifts for Seniors at Christmas and welcoming the international students at the Wesley Foundation at Lamar University, St. Stephen’s is involved in many areas of the community.

Serving the Helpers

St. Stephen’s serves an annual back-to-school breakfast for All Saints Episcopal School’s faculty and staff, welcomes the Beaumont Police Department for Coffee with a Cop and makes special deliveries to the Fire Departments.

Giving Back

A group of people, including adults and children, are gathered inside a building with stone walls and large windows. Some people are smiling and appear engaged. Several dogs are present, one is a black and white spaniel and another is a golden retriever, standing and looking at the camera. The scene suggests a friendly, social setting, possibly a community or family event.

From supplies for Beaumont Animal Care, to non-perishables for the Southeast Texas Food Bank, to quarterly blood drives for LifeShare Blood Center, St. Stephen’s is always on the look out for ways to give back to the community through service and donations.
